This Business Management BA (Hons) degree is delivered in partnership with Leeds Trinity University at LD Training campuses in London and Birmingham (Dudley).

This three-year Business Management BA (Hons) degree offers a solid foundation for aspiring professionals to pursue careers in leadership positions, start their own businesses, or even specialize in areas like international business, healthcare management, or sustainable business practices.

​You’ll study business objectives, practices and principles through case study research, lectures, workshops and student-led activities. You’ll look at the supply chain and logistics, production and project management as well as business organisation, human resources and the principles of leadership. 

​You’ll examine the modern business environment and how ‘start-up’ businesses grow as technology advances. You will focus on sustainability and the opportunities or limitations small businesses face, as well as developing your own concepts and business plans through a series of lectures, workshops, course work and group work. 

You’ll explore the fundamentals of accounting, finance and marketing, as well as getting the opportunity to learn about international business and marketing.

The programme has been developed in conjunction with employers and offers a well-rounded education in many areas of modern business management. It covers the organisational issues behind modern business, but also the legal, ethical and sustainability issues facing companies.

The underlying principle behind the course content is to mirror the modern business environment, giving you the opportunity to solve business problems in real-life case studies. You’ll learn in small groups, developing the confidence to work in project teams to a professional standard.

You’ll gain real-world experience through professional placements, helping you to develop the skills and experience you’ll need on your CV to impress potential employers and secure a job and you’ll have the opportunity to work on business reports, presentations and group projects that reflect the modern business environment.

Following your degree, you will graduate with an invaluable combination of in-depth theoretical knowledge and professional experience, preparing you for a successful start to your career in business and management.

You’ll graduate with the knowledge, skills and experience to work effectively in a management role within a business organisation. You’ll also be well prepared for a management trainee role, or you could choose to start your own business or continue on to postgraduate study. 

A variety of assessment methods are used, matched to the learning outcomes for your programme, allowing you to apply and demonstrate the full range of knowledge and skills that you have developed.

Formative assessment is used throughout our programmes to support you with preparation for summative assessment. Formative assessment is used to assess how you are progressing with your understanding of key modules ahead of assignment submission. Additionally, academic study and writing skills sessions are available throughout the teaching semester.

UK & EU Students (with settled status):

Tuition fees cost £9,250 a year for this course in 2025/2026.

Depending on government policy, tuition fees may rise with inflation in future years.

Living costs, e.g. travel, food, will also need to be taken into consideration.

Students who are enrolled on this degree, delivered in partnership with Leeds Trinity University, are eligible for membership of Leeds Trinity Students’ Union. Information on how to join the Students’ Union will be given to you when you begin your course.
