Supported Internship
A transformative work-based study initiative bridging the gap between education and employment for 16-24 year olds.
What is it?
Designed for young people aged 16 to 24 with an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).
This programme bridges the gap between education and employment, providing vital skills, experience, and confidence.
Study Programme Components
You will complete a personalised study programme delivered by us, which includes:
- English and Maths: At an appropriate level.
- Sector Specific Qualifications: Small qualifications relevant to your field.
- Employability Skills: Preparation for the working world.
Placement Structure
The core aim is a substantial work placement supported by an expert job coach.
- Duration: 6 months to 1 year.
- Schedule: Full-time study programme.
- Hands-on: 70% of learning time is spent in a real workplace.
