What is an online degree pathway programme?
A degree pathway programme is a staged route to a full degree. Instead of moving abroad on day one, you study the earlier levels of your qualification online with LD Training from your home country, then transfer to a university overseas for the final stage. Our online degree pathway programmes are particularly geared towards enabling international students to study online with LD Training and then progress to a UK university, to graduate with a UK university degree.
That means lower cost in the early years, no visa needed until you travel, and a clear, mapped route from where you are now to graduation day.

Graduate from a UK university
As an international student at LD Training, you will have the opportunity to progress from online learning in your home country to a chosen destination university in another country. This opportunity is available to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
At the end of your academic study with LD Training, and subject to your academic grades and IELTS score, you will be able to progress with guaranteed entry to a UK university – either at Level 6 to complete your undergraduate (Bachelor’s) degree, or mid-point during Level 7 to complete your postgraduate (MBA / Master’s) degree programme. Your pathway programme to a UK Bachelor’s degree
You will start your academic journey in your home country by studying online with LD Training, progressing through study Levels 3, 4 and 5 as appropriate. Subject to successful completion of each study level – your academic grades and your English language level – you will then progress to the UK at Level 6 to complete a Bachelor’s top-up degree programme, and graduate with a UK university Bachelor’s degree in your chosen subject.

Your pathway programme to a UK Master’s or MBA degree
You will start your academic journey in your home country by studying online with LD Training, progressing through Level 7 study – normally 100 to 120 credits. Subject to successful completion of your Level 7 study with LD Training, you will then progress to the UK, still at Level 7, to complete an MBA or Master’s top-up degree programme, and graduate with a UK university MBA or Master’s degree in your chosen subject.

Academic timetabling across time zones
It is really important that you attend all your timetabled real-time teaching and learning sessions, so that you benefit from both the knowledge and skills development and the exchange of ideas and experience with other students and academic colleagues in our virtual classrooms.
To make that possible wherever you are, we deliver identical teaching and learning sessions several times a day from the UK. According to the delivery day for each study level and the time zone of your home country, you will be able to enrol in the real-time virtual classroom sessions that suit you best.
English language and IELTS classes
LD Training is committed to supporting you. We offer online English language development classes, which are additional to your academic classes and are conveniently scheduled after them.
You will need to continue to develop your English language skills to support your academic development and progression – throughout your online learning with LD Training, and later when you progress to your chosen university to complete your degree qualification. You will also need good English language skills after you graduate, to work internationally and engage in professional business and industry networks.
Your pathway to academic, professional and personal development
You will be progressively challenged in the development of your knowledge, through critical thinking and the exchange of ideas and concepts, and you will apply that knowledge in a professional context.
Your interaction and engagement with your peers is vitally important to your learning. When do the online degree pathway programmes start?
Undergraduate delivery starts in autumn 2026, with admissions opening soon. Postgraduate (MBA / Master’s) delivery starts in January 2027, with admissions opening later this year. Because our academic units run back-to-back with a new unit each month, you join at the start of the next unit once your enrolment is complete.
Do I study the whole degree online?
No. You study the pathway levels online with LD Training from your home country, then progress to a destination university to complete the final stage in person – Level 6 for a Bachelor’s top-up, or the second half of Level 7 for an MBA or Master’s top-up.
Is progression to a UK university guaranteed?
Progression is guaranteed subject to your academic grades and your IELTS score at the end of your study with LD Training. Each level has its own academic and English language entry requirements.
Which subjects can I study?
Business and Management, and Accounting and Finance – both available as undergraduate (Bachelor’s) and postgraduate (MBA / Master’s) pathway programmes.
Are the qualifications recognised?
Yes. Our Level 3, 4, 5 and 7 qualifications are validated by ATHE and regulated by Ofqual, and LD Training is an ASIC accredited institution.
