If you’re a student looking to boost your employability skills before you graduate, we’ve got something brilliant lined up for you.
What’s Business Month All About?
We’re running Business Month throughout the rest of October and into early November. Basically a series of free workshops designed to develop the skills that employers actually want to see. Whether you’re job hunting, thinking about internships, or planning to start your own venture, these sessions are going to be valuable.
Kicking Off This Weekend: CREATE Professional Skills
First up is CREATE Professional Skills happening this Saturday, 11th October at 12 pm.
So what’s CREATE? It’s LDT’s Employability Framework, and it stands for:
- Commercial Acumen
- Resourcefulness
- Enterprising Skills
- Aptitude & Attitude
- Technical Skills
- Environmental Consciousness
Linda’s going to break down what each of these means, why they matter to employers, and how you can use this framework to smash your career goals.
You can join either in-person at Stanmore campus or online via video – whatever works for you! All students across all campuses are welcome.
Full Business Month Schedule
Here’s what’s coming up over the next few weekends:
