On Friday, September 12th, LD Training proudly hosted its first-ever Learning & Teaching Conference at the iconic Albert Hall Conference Centre in Nottingham. This flagship event brought together leading academics, educators, and industry professionals to explore a vital question in today’s educational landscape:

Exploring Innovation in Higher Education
The day was packed with insightful discussions and forward-thinking ideas, covering everything from the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in education to the development of critical thinking skills and future-ready employability.
A key highlight was the keynote address by Professor Daniel Berger, PFHEA, titled “The advance of AI: a welcome inevitability.” His thought-provoking talk explored how AI can enhance teaching methods, boost student engagement, and improve learning outcomes.
