In March, LD Training proudly hosted a special guest speaker event to celebrate International Women’s Day, bringing together students, professionals, and aspiring leaders for an inspiring discussion on leadership, resilience, and the power of voice in today’s world.
It was incredibly rewarding to see our community engage with two remarkable leaders who shared their journeys, insights, and practical advice for navigating leadership in complex environments.
Our speakers, Katharine Williams and Jacqueline Stockwell, delivered thoughtful, empowering sessions that sparked reflection and meaningful conversations among attendees.
Katharine Williams – Leading with Presence and Clarity

Our first guest speaker, Katharine Williams, is a leadership coach and founder of Neema, an organisation dedicated to helping leaders navigate growth, complexity, and change.
With over twenty years of experience in leadership and transformation, Katharine works closely with founders, senior leaders, and organisations to strengthen leadership presence and decision-making. Her work integrates insights from neuroscience, behavioural science, and organisational dynamics, enabling leaders to better understand the deeper patterns that shape how they lead.
Her insights encouraged attendees to step back from purely operational thinking and reflect on how they show up as leaders, both professionally and personally.
Katharine also shared resources from her work at Neema, including her e-book Presence Over Process, which further explores how leaders can cultivate stronger awareness and impact.
Jacqueline Stockwell – Empowering Leaders Through Information

Our second guest speaker, Jacqueline Stockwell, brought an energetic and highly practical perspective to leadership through her expertise in information management.
Jacqueline is the founder and CEO of Leadership Through Data, an international best-selling author of Blooming Good Information Management, and a renowned international public speaker.
Her approach to training makes complex information management topics engaging, memorable, and immediately applicable, empowering leaders to transform the way they organise and use information.
Jacqueline is also a multi-award-winning entrepreneur, recognised for her contributions to leadership and business. Among her accolades, she has received the Resilience & Empowerment Award and was a finalist for the Leadership Award at the Women in Business Awards 2025.
Her message resonated strongly with attendees: when leaders manage information well, they lead with greater confidence, clarity, and influence.
Key Takeaways from the Event
The event highlighted several powerful themes that align closely with the mission of LD Training and the spirit of International Women’s Day:
- Leadership is shaped by awareness – understanding our patterns, behaviours, and impact on others.
- Voice and influence matter – effective leaders communicate clearly and ensure their insights are heard.
- Growth requires reflection – stepping back from process to focus on presence can transform leadership effectiveness.
- Learning should be practical and empowering – knowledge becomes powerful when it can be applied immediately.
A Thank You to Our Speakers and Community
Events like this remind us how important it is to create spaces where professionals can learn from each other, share experiences, and celebrate leadership in all its forms.
We are incredibly grateful to Katharine Williams and Jacqueline Stockwell for joining us and sharing their expertise, and to everyone who attended and contributed to the discussion.
At LD Training, our goal is to continue creating opportunities that support professional growth, inspire leadership, and amplify diverse voices within our community.
Celebrating International Women’s Day together was a meaningful reminder that leadership is not just about positions or titles; it is about impact, courage, and the willingness to grow.
